Kangaroo Valley, hidden away between Fitzroy Falls and Berry, is one of the greenest places on earth. Lush dairy land dotted with black and white cows is real fairytale stuff, and as you wind down the hill from Fitzroy Falls, it will take your breath away.

The township is quaint with gift shops, cafes, a lovely old pub and several gourmet restaurants. Just out of town is the Kangaroo Valley Country Club for golfing enthusiasts plus the river and its various offshoots is very popular for canoeing and kayaking.

Just over the hill is Berry township and Seven Mile Beach - a beautiful unspoilt beach great for swimming, surfing and fishing. Also within driving distance from Kangaroo Valley are places such as Bowral, Moss Vale and historic Berrima to the west, Hyams Beach and Nowra to the east and Robertson to the north. Rathkells Farm is just a few miles out of town, but, as they say, a million miles away from cares.
