Greenock Creek Vineyard

Barossa Valley, SA

Established in 1984, the mission of Greenock Creek is to dig deeper into that place and unearth the alluring mysteries of diverse sites across the Barossa’s western edge. Growing exclusively singlevineyard wines, showing faithful expressions of the sub regions. Parish by parish, the differences are clear: Marananga Vineyard - Plush, rich, silky with its underlying power; Seppeltsfield Vineyard - earthy, gamey leanings with rustic, gravelly tannins that wrap around the lush fruit: Moppa Vineyard - aromatic flowers, fruit and sweet spices that float above flinty bass notes. All wines are handled gently in tiny batches. Grapes are handpicked, loaded into small open-top, poly-coated concrete fermenters. All lots are basket-pressed before going to oak. Showcasing the character of single-site vineyard blocks, these are wines that truly express craftsmanship, place and varietal character. Eight Greenock Creek wines have been rated 100 points by famed US critic Robert Parker of Wine Advocate which places the winery in a select group of the world’s most respected producers.
