MAN Family Wines was so named at its inception in 2001, after the first initial’s of the wives of the 3 founder/ winemakers, Marie, Anette and Nicky. It is now a collaboration with their grape growers, who are shareholders in the company. But the fundamentals have not changed; of making wines that are sustainably grown, true to varietal, well-balanced and of consistently high quality - wines they’d love to drink. The vineyards are predominantly dry-farmed (planted without irrigation) in decomposed granite soils which tends to yield grapes with an intensity of flavour.
