Parducci

Mendocino, California, USA

Founded in 1932, Parducci Wine Cellars is the longest running winery in Mendocino County – America’s greenest wine region. With nearly a century of experience, the winery is bound to a tradition of making wine that is delicious, through innovative practices that mimic and enhance natural processes.

“Parducci is a long-established winery that takes pride in its sustainably produced wines. They offer an array of varietals in a historic tasting room just north of Ukiah. Legendary California winemaker, John Parducci, and his family founded Parducci Wine Cellars in 1932 with a passion for creating quality wine with great value. John started young, traveling alone at age 14 with 40 rail cars of the family grapes to sell to home winemakers during Prohibition. He became head winemaker at Parducci in 1940 and was inducted into The Culinary Institute of America (C.I.A.) Vintner’s Hall of Fame in 2012. The winery is noted for being carbon-neutral, reusing and recycling as much as possible. The entrance to the property is graced by a home farm… home to beds of veggies, fruit trees, chickens, sheep, and pigs! Take the time to tour the wetlands and see the amazing gigantic redwood wine barrels.”
